One sent tutor request uses one message. One new quiz or study plan uses one generation, including source-only results when AI is unavailable. Reopening saved work uses neither. Pro allowances reset on the 1st of each month, UTC; unused allowance does not roll over. No automatic overage charges.

What happens when I reach a limit or cancel?

Your files, chats and saved reviews stay available. Free starter allowances never refill when you change or delete courses. Pro remains active until the paid period ends, then you choose one active Free course. Other courses stay readable. Saved reviews do not use AI allowance.

DATA & PRIVACY

About your study data

Your account stores your uploaded originals, extracted text, conversations, learning progress, and review cards. A local browser copy helps preserve edits if saving fails.

When an AI provider is configured, relevant course text and chat context are sent to that provider to generate responses. AI can make mistakes; use the source documents to check important details.

Deleting a chat also removes its questions from the tutor’s saved course memory. Deleting a course removes its materials, reviews, chats, and learning records from the app database.

Stripe handles payment details. CourseQuill stores billing identifiers and subscription status, not your card number.

Use Export study data in Profile & settings to download your notes and learning history. Original uploads are available through Open in Materials.
